  1. Introduction

    Artificial intelligence and the digital innovation may shape cutting edge and growth via influencing the level of goods market competition (Balcerzak et al., 2018; Grossman, 2018; Kliestik et al., 2018a; Leskaj, 2017) relative to the advancement of platforms and networks. Platform owners aim to capitalize on the amount of applicants on both sectors of the analogous two-sided markets. Information access may operate as an entry obstacle for constituting new rival networks that can exploit their monopoly status to charge substantial fees on market actors, possibly curbing creativity by the latter. (Aghion, Jones, and Jones, 2019)

  2. Literature Review

    The increasing investment in artificial intelligence has tremendous consequences for economic and cognitive advancement internationally. (Axel Montes and Goertzel, 2018) Continuing occupational polarization, directed by artificial intelligence, is bolstered by globalization. Numerous low-wage jobs that are difficult to automate should be accomplished directly and thus cannot be outsourced. High-wage jobs with massive unorganized cognitive labor are difficult both to automate and to make clear to transfer to other employees. (Levy, 2018)

  3. Methodology

    Building our argument by drawing on data collected from BI Intelligence, The Financial Services Forum, Forbes, Global Futures and Foresight, Narrative Science, National Business Research Institute, Salesforce, Tractica, World Economic Forum, and Zebra Technologies, we performed analyses and made estimates regarding percentage of retailers planning to invest in artificial intelligence and IoT technologies by 2021, reasons for adopting AI (%), fastest growing marketing technologies, technological drivers of change and time to impact on business models (share of respondents, %), the most important benefit that an AI-powered solution should provide, and AI revenue by region, world markets ($ millions).

    Firms may accomplish breakthrough enhancements in performance, frequently by advancing game-changing cutting edges.
