may climb thy golden stair . . . ”

Almost everyone is familiar with the childhood fairy

tale “Rapunzel.” A young girl with beautiful, long blonde

hair is locked in a tower by a witch. The only way in and

out of the doorless tower is through a window at the

top. One day, a prince comes to the tower and Rapunzel

and the prince fall in love. Rapunzel oers her long hair

to serve as a ladder, and the two manage to escape the

tower and live happily ever after.
