In 1974, Hungarian architect Erno Rubik invented a 3-D puzzle that would become an international sensation, selling more than 350 million units in the early 1980s. Though the Rubik's Cube later fell into relative obscurity, it's back. Teen and 20-something puzzlers have been learning about the cube from the Web, their parents' nostalgia for the toy, or the 2006 Will Smith movie, The Pursuit of Happyness.
