Few people make good on their threats, but Adam Bilzerian did. "America: Love It Or Leave It -So I Left" is an expression of dissatisfaction with the American government and how it drove him out of the country and he now calls the Caribbean home. Sick of unnecessary war, petty crime persecution, the abuse of its leaders, and more, he provides a well versed list of grievances with the powers that be in America, making for an intriguing read through and through. "America Love It or Leave It" is a fine read and a solidly recommended one for anyone who has their own dissatisfaction with their government.

Having a political opinion is nice. If you can fit it in while being a parent. "A Hamster is Missing in Washington, D. C.: The Tragedies, Triumphs, and Occasional Misdemeanors of Raising the Bush Years" is a collection of reflections from Ed Spivey Jr. as he reflects on being a father and what it meant to be a father in the first decade of the new millennium. Having not so many kind words for the Bush Administration, Spivey keeps in light in this combination political rant and parenting memoir. "A Hamster is Missing in Washington, D. C." is a fine pick, and a solidly recommended one.
