With graduation ceremonies complete and more employers in the process of hiring college grads, personal finance social network Wallet-Hub conducted an analysis of 2015's Best & Worst Cities to Start a Career, looking at the 150 largest U.S. cities to determine the relative strength of their job markets as well as the attractiveness of their social scenes and other factors that are important to job market entrants. The study utilized 19 key metrics, such as workforce diversity, median annual income, and number of leisure establishments.

The 10 Best Cities to Start a Career featuree six Texas towns: Irving (1); Grand Prairie (2), Austin (3), Houston (5), Corpus Christi (6), and Ft. Worth (8). Rounding out the top 10 are Denver, Colo. (4), Fremont, Calif. (7), Sioux, S.D. (9); and Tulsa, Okla. (10).

The 10 Worst Cities to Start a Career are Detroit, Mich. (150); Fresno, Calif. (149); Toldeo, Ohio (148); Columbus, Ga. (147); Stockton, Calif. (146); Cleveland, Ohio (145); Augusta, Ga. (144); Modesto, Calif. (143); Mobile, Ala. (142); and Milwaukee, Wis. (141).
