The 2011 YHA program proves biggest & best competition to date!

Two-hundred seventy-four entries; seven judges; 127 hours of thoughtful contemplation. The winners of the 2011 Your Honor Awards, unveiled at the LMA Annual Conference in Orlando, proved to have amazing work. Of particular note, this year's first place winner in the Media Relations category was actually the second place winner in the same category last year. A London-based firm went home to London following last year's second prize and with the mission to kick it up a notch!

"Upon returning to the office after winning second place last year, we used our work as a case study to critique our own work to figure out why we weren't first place. We looked at the first place winners from previous years to figure out what we did good and bad and what we needed to do to be excellent," says Stephanie Doyle, business development & marketing manager at Berwin Leighton Paisner in London.

In the category of Identity Projects Over $20K, Donald Marcy, marketing partner for Cairncross & Hemplemann (CH), accepted the award for the firm's win. He said the project was a wonderful "consensus building process and they are proud to have come up with something they hadn't seen before." The firm's "CH & --" campaign allowed the firm to put their clients and various charity names they are involved with in the blank to include them in the firm branding.
