Zinn got it right ("The Old Way of Thinking," November issue). Many others in the November issue did not. The perpetrators of September 11 are not accessible: They are dead. It is not as though you can bring the perpetrators to justice through war action or court action.

God love Howard Zinn. Near the end of his article, he writes, "True security can come only when we use our resources to make us the model of a good society, prosperous and peacemaking, with free medical care for everyone, education and housing, guaranteed decent wages, and a clean environment for all." I see at least a dozen big, big questions in this quotation that deserve public debate and action. Rest assured, none of them will be discussed as long as...
