AnchorPoint, a leading provider of integrated Telecommunications Financial Management (TFM) solutions, has brought out Advanced Analytics, a new set of business intelligence tools, including dashboard, benchmarking and ad hoc reporting, designed to simplify and improve the management of enterprise communications environments.

AnchorPoint Advanced Analytics is based on technology from Business Objects and is designed to offer users of the AnchorPoint TFM suite new ways to track, monitor and control communications-related assets and expenses. Framingham, Mass.-based AnchorPoint TFM's Invoice, Asset and Usage Management modules leverage the AnchorPoint Communications Intelligence Database to enable enterprises to re-allocate or eliminate costs, improve operating efficiencies and increase ROI from their telecom/technology investments, the company said in an announcement.

Advanced Analytics' dashboard tools provide quick access to relevant information for the C-level through the operations level. From a single screen, users can view information in multiple methods--charts, reports, meters, dials, etc.--that represent data from the communications intelligence database in a "business-ready" format. Dashboards can also display graphical trend analysis through scorecards and other key performance indicators (KPIs), such as spend vs. budget, expenses by type, expenses by site and asset utilization; these help users track their communications budgets, assets and usage in real-time. The dashboards give access to 50 pre-built KPIs and alerts.
