TEI's new website is scheduled to launch in early 2010, TEI President Neil Traubenberg told participants at TEI's Annual Conference in San Antonio. The new site was previewed during the Institute's fall program.

Mr. Traubenberg explained that the new site will implement feedback the organization has received since the current site was launched five years ago. In addition, he added, several members had volunteered to provide insights,

"TEI has sought to keep the features and functionalities that members like and to address their concerns about what was missing and what could be done better," he said. "The site is built on a Sharepoint platform, which has become the industry standard and will make it easier (and less expensive) to adapt the site in the future."

Other improvements include simplifying the members-only discussion forums, adding a blog feature, and improving both the job bank and the site's Search function. The 54 chapter sites will also be easier to manage and will...
