TEI confers honorary membership on Dave Bernard.

Recognizing 25 years of distinguished service to Tax Executives Institute, the Institute's Board of Directors has voted to confer honorary membership on David L. Bernard of the Northeast Wisconsin Chapter. The decision was made during the Institute's 60th Midyear Conference in Washington.

Mr. Bernard recently retired from Kimberly-Clark Corporation. As a TEI member, he actively served the Institute at every level, including Regional Vice President, President of the Wisconsin Chapter, and Wisconsin Chapter Representative on TEI's Board of Directors, and finally, as the Institute's 2006-2007 International President. Further, Mr. Bernard was a founder of TEI's Northeast Wisconsin Chapter, and was an active member of several Institute-level committees, serving (for example) as chair of the IRS Administrative Affairs Committee. In addition, he support the involvement of his Kimberly-Clark colleagues in Institute activities, and helped expand the involvement of many Chief Tax Officers in TEI.
