Team Challenge develops ideas to improve services.

The FEI Team Challenge, which divided FEI staff members into small teams to tackle eight member-related issues, ended Aug. 13 with presentations by the teams before a panel of FEI member judges assembled in Morristown. The winners each received a $250 check for their efforts.

The winning team had been charged with presenting a solution for streamlining distribution of emails from FEI and allowing members to remove themselves from email lists. Team members were: Barbara Chanes, Administration; Diane Watanabe and Tracy Santella, Conferences; Dan McDevitt, Web Development; and Karen Lundquist, Marketing. Other team topics included: Web redesign; enhancing private company content; making the Web, conference and magazine content more practical for members; making FEI less U.S.-centric; enhancing finance tools; improving career services; and reviving poorly performing chapters.
