Top teachers receive special recognition.

Denise Patterson (California State University, Fresno) and Willard S. Snyder (San Diego State University) have been named this year's winners of the Outstanding Educator Award, presented on behalf of the CalCPA Board and CalCPA Education Foundation Trustees, and administered by the CalCPA Accounting Education Committee

Patterson started at CSUF in 1994 and teaches seven accounting courses at the undergraduate and graduate level. In addition, she has numerous publications to her credit and received the university's Faculty Award for Outstanding Service to the University, School and Community.

Snyder has taught at SDSU since 1984 and was an adjunct professor while working as a partner with the Big Four accounting firm of Deloitte Haskins and Denise Patterson...
