A new containment system introduced by Modu Tank Inc., of Long Island, N.Y., is intended to combine the advantages of bladders and steel tanks for storage of a wide variety of liquids, according to the company president, Reed Margulis.
The system, dubbed LiquiGard, uses modular steel walls to protect fitted bladders, support internal secondary containment liners and provide extra strength against hydraulic stress, Margulis explained.
