In June 2005, Baylake Bank entered into contract with Green Bay Tall Ship Tours Inc. to be the title sponsor of the 2006 Green Bay Tall Ship Festival. This event became the "Baylake Bank Tall Ship Festival."

The festival was held July 27-29, 2006, and hosted 16 tall ships in downtown Green Bay at three sites: Leicht Memorial Park, Admiral Flatley Park, and the WPS Corporate grounds.
