Systems Engineering Division Presents Top Award.

* The National Defense Industrial Association's Systems Engineering Division recently bestowed its Lt. Gen. Thomas R. Ferguson, Jr. Systems Engineering Excellence Individual and Group Awards at the 2021 Virtual Systems and Mission Engineering Conference in December.
Philomena Zimmerman was presented the Ferguson award in the individual category for her distinguished efforts in improving systems engineering practices across the Defense Department enterprise. Her establishment of foundational infrastructure enabled the digital engineering and modeling and simulation communities to connect and synergize. Zimmerman's endeavors were also pivotal in updating the Pentagon's policy, practice and workforce development to enable better use of digital practices.
