Utah continued to earn several national accolades in 2018. From being named "#2 Best State for Business" by Forbes to "#1 State for Fiscal Stability" by U.S. News and World Report, Utah continues to rise to the top.

This year's Symposium theme is "Going Up," speaking to the positive momentum Utah has experienced, including robust economic growth, and increased job creation and wages. This positive progress has also created challenges, such as a shallow labor-pool, a rise in cost-of-living, and of course speculation of how to handle the economic downturn.
