Survey reveals members' satisfaction and educational needs.

Overall, ARMA International's members are satisfied but want more--particularly more advanced-level and industry-specific education. That was the message received from nearly 2,600 members who responded to a recent member survey conducted by the association in August.

The survey was developed in collaboration with ARMA's Member Relations and Educational Development Committees and sent to all active regular members. According to Cogent Research, which administered the survey, the 25 percent return is average for association surveys such as this.

The purpose of the survey was to gain a clearer picture of who ARMA's members are and their

* level of satisfaction with products and services

* current and future education needs

* recommendations for improvement

Fully three-quarters of the members who responded to the survey stated that they are satisfied with their membership, including one-third who are "very satisfied." Only 7 percent reported dissatisfaction.
