THE NEW HOME OF THE ATLANTA BRAVES BASEBALL TEAM WILL BE NAMED SUNTRUST PARK,

reports Atlanta-based SunTrust Bank. Construction of the ballpark is slated to begin later this year and is scheduled to open in the spring of 2017.

The ballpark is part of a multiuse development that will include shops, restaurants, offices and residences. "This partnership provides SunTrust increased visibility on a regional and national level through a truly unique mixed-use development that will attract fans and visitors throughout the year," says bankChairman and CEO William H. Rogers Jr.

The 25-year agreement includes marquee signage for the bank as well as additional signage and promotional opportunities throughout the ballpark and adjacent mixed-use complex.
