Life, as the song goes, "only brings us surprises." That was my experience when I called the toll-free number for Americas Magazine, and the person who answered the phone did not speak Spanish. It seems strange that in a magazine published by the Organization of American States, the Spanish language is ignored. What lack of respect to Cervantes, when we commemorate the four-hundredth anniversary of his Don Quixote de La Mancha without a mention of it in your magazine. My telephone call was to ask for the Agenda, offered as a gift for renewing my subscription.
