We know a lot of people who, while certainly enjoying the holidays, really are done with the whole kit and caboodle come New Year's. More than a month of frenzy will do that. Not us. Those cold, dark days of January would be just that if you let them. Instead, we try to catch a second wind once the ball drops. So, while the decorations and the tree inevitably must go--we chop down our own about 10 days before Christmas, so it lasts well into January--we try to keep a few of the special presents out to keep the spirit alive, at least until Groundhog Day.

For instance, circling the outskirts of our living room is the Christmas in ToyTown RC Set from Fisher-Price (Mattel, Inc.), which comes with a train (and three light-up cars) that can be pushed along or RC controlled. The controller features forward/reverse and activates lights and sound effects. There also are two moveable lighted lamp posts, light-up Easy Rail Station, a bridge, and skating pond.
