In order to replace police cars during fiscally tight times, some police departments are resorting to selling advertising space on their patrol cars. A company called Government Acquisitions LLC has started selling the space to advertisers. In return for advertising revenue generated from ads on the hoods or sides of police vehicles, Government Acquisitions sells new patrol cars to police departments for $1, and agrees to replace them every three years. Since many police departments lack the funding they need to replace old cars, they are willing to post the ads in return for much needed new vehicles...
