Stipulations with opposing counsel should also be considered in trial preparation. Facts or records agreed upon in advance of trial obviates the need for proof by witnesses. Stipulations are also helpful to the judge and the jury in expediting the trial. When stipulating, be sure of the terms of the agreement.
