Reading your recent issues, it has come to my attention that President Obama has not supported progressive issues as often or as strongly as you would like. One that galls me (and one that you have omitted to date) is the cost of living adjustments in Social Security payments. Whilst good old George W. Bush was President, at least we received these.

Now we are told the cost of living did not increase last year, according to the Department of Labor, which publishes the Consumer Price Index.

I suppose bailing out every super rich Tom, Dick, and Harry has stabilized the dollar. The cost to consumers, I imagine, is way down, on average, because so few of us are effective...
