Tax Executives Institute will welcome the Commissioner of the IRS's Large Business & International Division, Heather C. Maloy, to South Florida when she addresses the Institute's 67th Annual Conference. The conference, which runs from October 29 to October 31, will be held at the Westin Diplomat Hotel in Hollywood, Florida. TEI President Carita R. Twinem of the Wisconsin Chapter said, "Heather Maloy has been an engaged, enthusiast leader for the LB&I Division. Her wide-ranging knowledge, practical experience both in and out of government, and her essential pragmatism have benefitted for the IRS and taxpayers. We are honored to have her speak at our Annual Conference."

In addition to Commissioner Maloy, Steven L. Rattner, an American financier who is chairman of Willett Advisors, who served as the Obama Administration's "Car Czar" and is frequent contributor to many network and cable news shows, will address the conference. I'm convinced that we can all learn from Steve Rattner's experiences and insights." She explained that Mr. Rattner will address global economic, business, and investment trends.

Nick Giordano of Washington Council Ernst & Young and Michael J. Caballero, the former U.S. Treasury Department International Tax Counsel and now an attorney with Covington & Burling, will headline a Washington Update session on Monday, immediately following Steven Rattner's keynote address.

Whether the focus is international or domestic, technical or managerial, tax planning or controversy, cash management or financial reporting--or "all the above"--TEI's 67th Annual Conference presents unparalleled...
