You cannot underestimate the value of good task lighting. Anyone who has ever worked under the sink, gone camping, or investigated a strange noise in a dark backyard can attest to the importance of having durable, bright light. Baccus Global LLC, Deerfield Beach, Fla., has developed a line of Stanley spotlights, work lights, and other products that can pair with any undertaking to get the job done faster and more efficiently.

Don't be fooled by the dimensions of the Stanley Ultra Bright 5 Watt LED Spotlight (192 lumens). Its compact size makes it lightweight and easy to carry, yet it's very powerful and two times brighter than a standard LED spotlight. This handheld unit can run for up to 10 hours on a single charge. It comes with a 7.2 volt NI-MH battery that recharges in two hours or less, and includes AC and DC charging units, so you can charge it in your car as well as at home.

The 1M Series Spotlight (580 lumens) offers an ultra-bright halogen beam and, like all Stanley spotlights, has a rubber bezel and handle for comfort. This model, which uses a rechargeable 6 volt battery, comes with a carry lanyard, and AC and DC adapters. The 2M Series Spotlight (1,365 lumens) has the same features as the 1M Series, except it has a built-in AC charger and can be repowered with a standard household extension cord.

Mightier still is the HID 3000 High Intensity Discharge Spotlight (3,000 lumens). The HID 3000 is up to seven times brighter than standard spotlights, and contains three LED area lights. It operates from a 12-volt rechargeable battery, but also can run while on the charges. AC and DC charging units are included.

The SquidBrite Work Light has 20 ultra-bright LEDs and can run for up to six hours. Its heavy duty magnetic backing allows it to attach easily to metal surfaces, such as under a car hood. With three flexible rubber legs, the stand grips around objects and uneven surfaces so you can aim...
