Why did you choose to work at the Legislature?

After interning at the Legislature, I knew I wanted to work in this environment. I enjoy listening to the legislators debate and having the opportunity to witness policymaking firsthand. Whether it's helping constituents or summarizing legislation, I'm always learning something new, and I feel a sense of pride each time I come to work and see our beautiful state Capitol.

What skill or talent are you most proud of?

Being able to maintain a positive attitude during stressful times. I'm always smiling, laughing and providing words of encouragement to my peers. Working in a fast-paced environment where you're meeting deadlines and attending multiple meetings can feel overwhelming at times. However, I always try to leave my office acknowledging the tasks that I accomplish each day, rather than worry about the next.
