Henry Belah Hinton
Born in Lake Wales, Florida, on August 10, 1945, Henry Belah Hinton, 61, of Middlesex, died March 28, 2007. He received his bachelor's degree from the University of Florida and his law degree from the University of Virginia. After practicing in Virginia and Kentucky, where he met and married Joan Carol Bauer, now deceased, he moved to Vermont in 1982. Hinton worked in the Office of the Defender General in Montpelier for more than twenty years. He is survived by two daughters and his partner, Barbara Gassner.
Fletcher Baird Joslin
Born on February 5, 1912, Fletcher Baird Joslin of Montpelier died on February 13, 2007. Joslin graduated from the University of Vermont and earned his law degree from Boston University in 1938. He was admitted to the Vermont Bar in January 1939, and was a founding member of the law firm of Theriault & Joslin in 1946 with his father-in-law, William N. Theriault.
