Just a few words to say how much I enjoyed Stuart R. Josephs, CPA article summarizing the individual side of The 2001 Tax Act in our July California CPA issue.

I found it easy to comprehend because it was written in a "conversational" style. Often articles written to explain technical issues take are done in a "legal" style. I find those types of articles difficult to understand, and even harder to retain the salient points! However, with Mr. Josephs' article I've ended up keeping the issue on my desk, using it both as a reference, and as a visual tool to discuss the tax impact during client meetings. Thanks for another great issue!

Our magazine has really changed in the past year. I find myself looking forward to articles that address what's happening in our state. The article about the energy crisis in the March/April issue is an excellent example. I contacted several of my clients and advised them to purchase UPS (uninterrupted power supply) systems to protect their networks and data.
