There seems to be some confusion over terminology in your two articles "Taking the Plunge" and "The H-1B Controversy." "Startups" and "high tech" are not synonyms. High-tech startups are not just computer programming and Internet businesses. There are many other technologies and many other businesses.

All technology-driven new businesses share the same problems. Getting their "fair share" of enough resources, for example, whether those resources are finances, skilled people, working space, etc.
