Spartanburg company acquires 4 communication providers.

Mobile Communications Americahas continued its march along the East Coast and beyond with the acquisition of four communication providers in Texas, Georgia, Virginia and Michigan.

The slew of purchases follows the Spartanburg-based company's five acquisitions last year and six acquisitions in 2021.

Mobile Communications America now has a presence in Plymouth, Mich., through its purchase ofComSource Inc., and in Austin, Texas, through the acquisition ofAll Points Communications of Austinand All Points, a provider of two-way radio systems and wireless broadband.

Lord and Company Technologies Inc., a 40-year-old in-building wireless communications provider headquartered in Manassas, Va., will also come under the umbrella of Mobile Communications America.

In Dalton, Ga., Lamar Nichols and Glen Hobbs, co-owners ofDalton SMR Inc., signed over their 20-year-old company in a transaction announced last week.
