Spartanburg chamber launches labor law, HR events.

The Spartanburg Area Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with labor and employment law firm Ford Harrison, has scheduled workshops on labor law and human resources through a program called Chamber Exclusive Series. The series provides "necessary information to keep your business compliant in 2019," according to the chamber.

The first event in the Chamber Exclusive Series is on labor and employment law and will be April 9, from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m., at the Spartanburg chamber at 105 N. Pine St.

Additional events include:

April 23: Wage and Hour Update: Learn about key minimum wage and overtime compliance issues through a look at the U.S. Department of Labor's actions during the Trump administration and what major changes are expected to be coming soon.
