Space Division Recognizes Pawlikowski, Austin.

* Air Force Space and Missile Systems Center Commander Lt. Gen. Ellen Pawlikowski and Wanda M. Austin, president and CEO of The Aerospace Corporation, were co-winners of this year's Honorable Peter B. Teets Award for outstanding industry and government achievement in space.

The recipients must be of notable influence in their distinguished service, and must have made significant contributions that strengthened national security.

Pawlikowski, who is also program executive officer for space, was instrumental in the launching of eight satellites, which included Advanced EHF, Wideband Global Satcom, GPS-3, Mobile User Objective System and four National Reconnaissance Office spacecraft. The director of the NRO personally recognized her team for their outstanding support. The launches extend the Space and Missile Systems Center's track record to 79 consecutive successful launches.
