Southern Ocean's State of the Chamber event set for Jan. 15.

The Southern Ocean Chamber of Commerce will kick-off its 106th year on Jan. 15 and is opening the invite to area businesses.

The chamber will hold its State of the Chamber Breakfast at Mainland Manahawkin in East Manahawkin on Jan. 15, 2020, featuring guest speaker, New Jersey Department of Transportation Regional Manager Megan Fackler.

According to the chamber, Fackler will discuss the final phases of the Causeway Bridge Project, which leads to Long Beach Island. New officers of the board of directors will also be introduced at the meeting and updates will be provided on the organization's new programs. Downtown Driven...
