Cedar City - FLYING J AUTO PLAZA was sold to SINGH PETRO INC. The renamed Cedar City Travel Plaza has rebranded from a Flying J to a TEXACO. MOUNTAIN AMERICA CREDIT UNION funded the project in conjunction with the SBA. Neil Walter of NAI UTAH SOUTH represented the buyer and the seller in the transaction.

Escalante - The ESCALANTE HERITAGE/HOLE-IN-THE-ROCK CENTER AND MUSEUM was recently dedicated. Locals have worked for 20 years to build the facility to preserve and promote the cultural history of the Escalante area.

St. George - ST. GEORGE FIRE STATION NO. 8 located at 1096 Bluegrass Way in the Sun River community, celebrated an open house. The new $1.5-million dollar station will be staffed by nine full-time firefighters. The two-acre facility was built by general contractor VELOCITY CONSTRUCTION. MESA CONSULTING provided the architectural services, VAN BOERUM & FRANK provided the mechanical, plumbing and electrical design, and LANDMARK performed the geotechnical testing and engineering.
