Fighting enemies in urban and rural settings throughout the world is the assignment in "SOCOM II: U.S. Navy SEALs."

The sequel to the PlayStation 2 video game "SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALs," comes with new features such as gameplay, chat functionality, mission types and weapons. It was developed in association with the Naval Special Warfare Command, an element of the U.S. Special Operations Command that includes the famed SEAL (Sea, Air and Land) teams.

Up to 16 players will be able to interact and communicate online, using broadband or LAN, through all-new combat environments and maps. In addition to demolition, suppression and extraction (hostage rescue), new mission types, such as escort and breach, are available in the online mode.
