Twenty-five percent of businesses say they're not prepared for the e-discovery risks posed by social networks. and 33% think they're only partially prepared to meet related e-discovery requests, according to a survey.

The survey of 337 U.S. IT, legal, risk, and compliance professionals conducted by the Economist Intelligence Unit for Deloitte Forensic Center also revealed that two-thirds of businesses worry about e-discovery risks posed by Facebook and Twitter. Only 9% said they are well prepared to handle e-discovery requests for information stored in the cloud.
