Snowbird opens one of Utah's longest mountain biking trails.

Snowbird--SNOWBIRD SKI AND SUMMER RESORT opened a new mountain biking trail called Big Mtn. Trail. At seven-and-a-half miles long with an average grade of 8 percent, it is one of the longest continuous trails in Utah.

The Big Mtn. Trail, which was designed and constructed by Utah-based ALPINE TRAILS, starts at 11,000 feet. at the top of the Snowbird Tram, and traverses much of the Gad Valley area, going through wooded glades, meadows and challenging rocky terrain.
