Need to find a sniper fast? Check out the small arms detection system from Rafael Development Authority Ltd. of Israel. SADS, the company says, is able to quickly detect and pinpoint the general direction of a hostile shooter.
It consists of an acoustic antenna, miniaturized processing unit and a user interface. When hostile fire is encountered, the system offers azimuth and elevation of the source.
