Why did you choose to work at the Legislature?

I have always been interested in public policy and politics. To be able to work in our representative government on the state level, as messy as it can be, is a great honor--and rarely boring!

What skill or talent are you most proud of?

The process of crafting public policy often produces a charged atmosphere where emotions and opinions run hot. In this environment, I always try to maintain perspective and even add some levity if appropriate to help myself and others work our way through challenging situations.

Who or what inspires you?

My wife and daughters...
