Sixty-nine students graduated in the 2009 class of the ABA School of Bank Marketing and Management (SBMM). The school was held May 12-19 at Southern Methodist University, Dallas.

The 2009 graduation took place at the conclusion of the class's second week of instruction. The second of the school's two week-long segments is taught a year after the first.

Founded in 1948, the SBMM is the only national bank marketing education institution of its kind.

The winner of the James Donnelly Award for the best student paper was Jennifer L. Ramon, whose paper was entitled, "How Environmental Responsibility Can Impact the Bottom Line."

Eight students graduated with honors. These included: Bryan Bear; Lori Bodenschatz; Tammy Booth; Wendy Nielsen; Kelli Price; Jennifer L. Ramon; Cynthia A. Strowbridge; and Dana Thomas.
