Six Tuesday Morning stores in South Carolina slated to close after chain files for bankruptcy.

Six Tuesday Morning stores across South Carolina will close in the wake of the Dallas-based discount home goods chain's Tuesday announcement that it has filed bankruptcy for the second time in three years.

The closings include one in the greater Columbia area, two in the Charleston area and one in the Upstate, as well as closings in Aiken and Florence.

Store closures nationwide were announced on the chain's website Wednesday, Feb. 15.

Tuesday Morning currently has about 480 stores nationwide, down from more than 700 prior to the pandemic.

South Carolina which will close later this year include those located in Harbison Court at 264 Harbison Blvd. in Columbia, 6101 Calhoun Memorial Highway at the Town and Country Plaza in Easley, 975 Savannah Highway at the St. Andrews Shopping Center in Charleston and at 680 Long Point Road in the Belle Hall Shopping Center in Mount...
