PositionSea-Land Service introduces Sea-Lect computer software

Shipping Software. For comprehensive information about shipping perishable goods, Sea-Land Service this spring introduced its Sea-Lect computer software, a program that can turn a personal computer into a work station. Sea-Lect encompasses a series of functions that can put the customer's IBM-compatible personal computer on-line with Sea-Land's computer system. Using Sea-Lect, shippers can check schedules, book cargo, determine rates, optimize loading patterns, monitor shipments in transit, pay freight bills, and communicate with Sea-Land's offices worldwide.
