Christmas may not be all about me but, when it comes to presents, it is all about my favorite team: the San Francisco Giants. (Of course, there's also my--winless as of this writing--Cleveland Browns. That, however, is a tale of woe for a less-joyous time of year.)

While the Giants' NLDS defeat at the hands of the (for the first time in 71 years) pennant-bound Chicago Cubs was tough to take--this being an even-numbered year, the Giants were supposed to add to their World Series titles of 2010,2012, and 2014--there is solace in the fact that they did beat the New York Mets in the Wild Card playoff before falling to the Chitown juggernaut.

Every holiday season, friends and family alike have Santa load up his sleigh with SFG jerseys, caps, pennants, banners, patches, pins, t-shirts, etc. to be delivered under our tree. This Christmas, however, I decided to gift myself an item that has escaped my memorabilia collection: a personalized bat from the Louisville Slugger Museum & Factory--and it's a beauty.
