I want to applaud State Legislatures magazine for its article on the importance of constituent relations for legislators. ("Keeping in Touch," February 2006)

As state governments expand, as well as automate, many constituents grow frustrated with their lack of access to government agencies. Legislators who work to bridge this gap between government and the people are serving their constituents in the best possible way.
