The Cities of Service Impact Volunteering Fund awarded its first round of Impact Volunteering Fund grants to 18 U.S. cities that are harnessing the power of volunteers to address priority problems in their communities. Grants ranging from $25,000 to $100,000 will support efforts in Atlanta, Georgia; Austin, Texas; Baltimore, Maryland; Birmingham, Alabama; Duluth, Minnesota; Fall River, Massachusetts; Flint, Michigan; Indianapolis, Indiana; Kalamazoo, Michigan; Little Rock, Arkansas; Nashville, Tennessee; Orlando, Florida; Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; Phoenix, Arizona; Pierre,South Dakota; Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; Providence, Rhode Island; and Richmond, California.
