The Sitka Summer Music Festival presents the Alaska Airlines Autumn Classics. Weekends of Sept. 19 through 21 and Sept. 26 through 28 at Alaska Pacific University, Grant Hall. 28-0ct 26 Carla Potter Solo Exhibition

After living most of her life in the coastal community of Ketchikan, Carla Potter has become one of the most innovative ceramic artists in the state. She creates pots, flatware and bowls that reflect her interest in the natural life of the seashore. Potter is currently working on platter forms that capture the interplay of water surface and objects such as kelp, rockweed and even human debris. Potter has been included in several juried exhibits in Alaska and gained a Juror's Choice in the statewide craft exhibition, Earth, Fire and Fibre. Anchorage Museum of History and Art.
