Ex-senator's son will run Asheville's baseball team.

The family of Mike DeWine, a former U.S. senator and Republican running for Ohio attorney general, agreed to buy the Asheville Tourists minor-league baseball team from Auburn Hills, Mich.-based Palace Sports & Entertainment Inc. Terms weren't disclosed. The sale to DeWine Seeds-Silver Dollar Baseball LLC is expected to close this month, subject to the approval of the South Atlantic League, Minor League Baseball and Major League Baseball.
