Finding time to pound the pavement is a common dilemma for employed job seekers. Yet, where there is a will, there is a way, indicates a survey developed by Accountemps, Menlo Park, Calif., a temporary staffing service for accounting, finance, and bookkeeping professionals. Two out of three respondents said they would be at ease looking for a new position while still working.

Executives were asked, "How comfortable would you feel looking for a new job while still employed?" Their responses: Very comfortable (36%); somewhat comfortable (33%); somewhat uncomfortable (26%); and very uncomfortable (five percent).
