The bank came up with a distinctive way to promote financial literacy: It teamed up with a pair of children's authors to create a limited-edition children's book that not only tells an entertaining story, but also teaches young people the purpose and benefits of using a bank.

The 30-page book is entitled, "What a Bank Can Do," and is written by John and Diane Tuzee, who have written several other educational children's books. The story is about the characters Luke and Linda, who first learn about savings with their toy banks and later with their own bank accounts. The text is written in verse with rhyming words.
