F. (§9.8) Christmas Concerts and Celebration of Religious Holidays
In Missouri, a Christmas concert given in a public high school was deemed secular, rather than religious, in character and thus constitutionally permissible. R.J.J. ex rel. Johnson v. Shineman, 658 S.W.2d 910 (Mo. App. W.D. 1983). The court stated:
